MM it can be really hard when you have a sweet tooth, I have found there are some tricks that I can use while trying to lose weight. One is if I am craving something I will just tell myself to wait until tomorrow, if I am still craving it tomorrow then I get to have it. Most days I forget about it. Another is that when I bake- which I love to do- I use sweet potatoes instead of sugar and coconut or almond flour instead of regular flour. Your body breaks these down faster and more efficiently then sugar and wheat. I wish you the best of luck in your weight loss journey. Keep at it.
