We finally heard from the Mayo Clinic and they said all the tests were inconclusive. We were really depressed about it at first but felt better after we prayed together. My husband saw his regular doctor this week and she is going to confer with the Mayo Clinic to decide on a next step. We are hoping to go back to the Mayo Clinic for more tests. My husband and I talked together and decided he should at least ask for some pain meds and some medicine to help with the fatigue. He has been in daily pain for 7-8 months and regular pain meds do not help. Anyway the doctor decided not to give him anything because she hadn't conferred with the Mayo Clinic yet. My husband and I were really frustrated because my husband has felt so bad he has been thinking about quitting work. Anyway we continue to need prayers for a correct diagnosis and proper treatment. My husband doesn't even have an appointment with his regular doctor for another month.
WE have been doing well and finished 2 weeks of Induction. I started eating nuts again today but my husband is going to stay on Induction for a while. I was up to 188 and something so I lost a few lbs, off that highest weight. I'm still 8 lbs. over my lowest weight. We are going walking in a bit but I still need to start back to my regular exercises. I'm even going to try the exercise DVDs again (hope I don't get another stress fracture.
My puppy is doing great and loves puppy day care and her obedience classes. She is still shy but ventured out a bit last class and sniffed a few dogs but didn't try to play. She is doing well on learning her tricks. She is learning to Come and to Leave it. We've also taught her to wave bye bye.
My sister got out of the hospital and is going to outpatient treatment. She is still struggling but she came to my women's meeting Wed. She could use prayers too. I'm going to walk in a few minutes but I am going to post on my buddies journals until then.
