Went to restaurant tonight with 2 other families. I worried about my intake because it was a pub style food place (not my choice). However, I managed to order a salad with grilled tuna and drank green tea. I normally would have had major carbs, calories and deep fried potatoes and a coke. Honestly, my choice was fine even though everyone else had those other things. And now I feel good about myself instead of self loathing. This is a minor victory for me. So I am happy with myself for once. A good night.

At least you had a choice . There are some places which do not have a healthy choice in their menu absolutely.

That is so true. I had lunch at a Thai restaurant recently and honestly couldn't find a choice for my diet so I ended up having rice with my main and feeling lousy. Also look out for salads like at Wendy's which are actually not a good choice calorie wise or fat wise.
