MagickalMeg's Journal, 10 Mar 21

I'm taking my measurements later today and will be noting them
so I can look back in time to see progress, or lack of.

I am finding this site a pleasant place to be, thank you.
And thank you for being here.

I do have a question, perhaps someone here may be able to answer.
When you start exercising, having been quite sedentary, do you
lose a lot of water weight in the beginning?

My scale shows I am down 1.5 lbs in 2 days. Either I need to
replace my new scale I recently purchased and calibrated, or
it's just water weight flushing out of my system now that I'm
moving my body and getting things flowing with exercising.

Greetings to all,
Meg

Yes, exercising and a change in diet can cause rapid water weight loss. Make sure to hydrate and keep your electrolytes up.

Agree with both. That is what the exercise does for me when I get back to them. After a few sets it is no longer about the weight drop, but it is noticed in the size. So keep doing what you are doing it will all come together.
