I surviiiiiiiiiiived!
Yesterday we celebrated Carnival :) for the ones who know what that means, you will understand how much effort I needed to put to manage it.
For the ones who don't know: Carnival (in Germany) kicked off yesterday, and usually means 5 days of party (at least the first one is unmissable) with heavy drinking and eating, and wearing funny customes everywhere.
The challenge for me yesterday was to not eat all the typical carnival dishes (none of them is light!) and also not drink as much alcohol (not drinking at all was not even part of my plan).
I managed to not eat anything in those parties! instead, I stuck to my home prepared healthy and tasty lunch. And I had half a glass of wine, and 1.5 beers, that was all I had of alcohol for the whole day - which ended early this morning actually. So yes, I could say mission accomplished.
Also, knowing that I wouldn't be able to make time to exercise, I put extra effort in my dancing at night in the party, so I could say that still counts :)
End result: my RDI was still good, I went above normal intake of carbs but still ok, and most important, my weigh in today reported a loss.
Great way to celebrate carnival!!!
