Oh the 21st of January it will be one month since i started REALLY watching my diet. I have had a few slip up days, that's for sure, but for the most part i've been completely on track. It's getting easier day by day. I used to think that i needed to lose weight quickly in order to be content with what i was doing, but this time i'm OK with losing slowly. I feel like it's actually real weight that's coming off, not just water weight or that the scale would fluctuate like crazy if i had an off day.
I'm giving myself about 6-8 months to hopefully lose quite a bit and get closer to my goal. If it takes longer, that's ok too. It's not like i'm going anywhere, or a year won't come and go. I've never given myself more than a month or two, and i always thought it felt daunting to get there. This time feels different....let's hope it is! :-)
