I'd say half a lb. is fine after a slightly indulgent Sunday. I made myself a plate of "snacks" mid-afternoon that I counted as lunch. When Hubby & I sat down to watch the game I grabbed a Seltzer on ice with a splash of sparkling water. I figured at 90 calories each, if I wanted to have a few they'd be better than wine. I ended up having 2 😏 Hubby had a bowl of chips...so I decided I could have have some, too. And not that "a serving is like 12 chips"....a proper bowl of chips! We had chili with some cheesy bread sticks for dinner. I started with a cup & a half in my bowl but did go back for another scoop. We had cake for dessert but by then I was full so I skipped the cake. Eventually, I broke out the box of Outshine pops I hadn't opened & had a tangerine pop (40 calories). Ended up at an estimated 2500 calories for the day.
Today, I had a conservative breakfast...my usual fruit, half a bagel & peanut butter with coffee. Lunch ended up being a more traditional lunch of a salad & 1/2 cup of chili.
Dinner is Porkchops from the the freezer off the pork rib roast I cooked before. Just have to reheat. Thinking about cabbage & apples with it.
It was sunny & low 50's today. Got in an afternoon walk. Not much else going on around here.
