jsfantome's Journal, 11 Jan 11

So, have you ever heard or watched those commercials regarding medications where the side effects are 10X worse than the thing the med is supposed to be for???

The Tug that Sends Your Energy Soaring:

Need a quick lift? Try this easy trick: Grab a handful of hair and gently pull it away from your scalp for 3 seconds. Repeat on different parts of the head. Stress can cause muscles around the skull to contract, which blocks the flow of energizing oxygen to the brain. Stimulating the scalp helps restore circulation to send PEP soaring.

Ok - I really did spit my coffee out laughing when I read this! It just struck me very funny! I am still laughing. I could just picture my hubby walking in the room and trying to figure out WHAT I was doing??? Ok, still laughing.... :)

If anybody actually tries this and it works...pls let me know!!! Love.

Actually I was doing this at work today lmao..It was a hair pulling kind of day. I am really skeptical about medications anymore...I am so thankful that I don't have to take any and this is part of the reason I am wanting to keep and stay healthy because those side effects are sometimes way worse then the symptoms they are supposed to help...TOWANDA!!!!

Paula, yes I've read that too - in Atkins materials, actually...saying it is best to eat something every 2-3 hours, consistently all day - of course stopping well before bedtime. It is best not to eat after 6, but that is hard for most. So definitely not after 8pm.
