So I'm trying to figure out what to do about my eating situation. Starting my new job has reduced my stress so much that I thought it would help with the eating but because of the restrictions of my new job, my eating schedule is so crazy. My problem is that I can't eat or drink anything in a certain area where I work and that area is where I have to spend 99% of my work day. It's not that my employer is terrible, it's just not possible. The problem is I'm starving when I get home so I eat too much dinner and snack. Even with all that, my calories per day have been reduced and I'm still gaining weight. So I'm thinking that I need to take a break and go to my lonely cubical and have a snack in the morning and afternoon so I'm not so hungry. I tried to do that today but got the morning break in and not the afternoon, just too busy and a last minute meeting. I bought some applesauce and yogurt today so I'm hoping I can squeeze a break in for a healthy snack starting next week. At my last job I could sip tea all day and eat pretty much when I needed too. That made keeping the hungries at bay a little easier. Now that I'm a little more settled at my job maybe I can work out my eating schedule. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I know how hard it is if you can't snack during your day...I would take a snack to the bathroom when I went and consume it on the way and back, just an idea....I could not go without snacks

Wishing you a great weekend too, sweet friend! I think your new plan sounds great & makes good sense. Getting overly hungry sets me up also to overeat, so trying to fit in a couple of snacks is a great idea. What about lunch? Are you able to get out for that, or bring a lunch? I'm finding too that it's important for me to have enough protein at meals & as snacks as it keeps me fuller longer. Stay in touch, and hope you get some time for you this weekend! Xoxox

Definitely - low blood sugar will lead to overeating and weight gain in my life every time. Yes, try to get those cubicle breaks in and take care of you so that this job doesn't contribute to stress.
