You can do this!!! Don't beat yourself up. I find it helpful to start with a couple of small concrete attainable goals and build from there. As you begin to achieve success you'll gain momentum. I also found it helpful to identify triggers and build in some controls to help from going off the rails. For example I tend to snack when watching tv. I started planning small snacks for every 2 hours during this period. It kept me in my calorie limit and helped me get some of those needs met in a more controlled way.

I needed someone to smack me tonight as I started to graze on a bag of Popcorners. Fortunately the dog was obnoxious and made me get up....1/2 bag gone. :(

Hmmm — snaking materials in your house when you have problems saying no.

Oh boy the keys on my IPad are sticking tonight and just doing their own thing.

I bet they shrunk in the wash and if you launder them again in about 1 week they'll stretch out & fit again. It's happened to me a couple times 😁

I was reading through your previous posts and I have some suggestions. 1) cut out the diet soda. The artificial sweetener makes you crave sweets and carbs. 2) you seem so preoccupied about what you will eat later on. Maybe if you preplan your meals. I have created saved meals in this app so that I already know that the calories will be before I eat anything. Might just be better to stick to boring foods for a while. 3) maybe try brushing your teeth while you are waiting for that hour to pass so you can eat lunch. I know I don't like to eat when I just brushed my teeth. 4) maybe chew some gum to keep your jaws busy so you don't start craving popcorn or snacks. Lots of love and support

I also do what Cassie does and preplan certain meals. Especially if I want to splurge a little like the holidays or just a night when I want a few more calories. I started out eating 1800 cals per day. Now I'm doing 1600. I multiply 1600 by 7 days to get 11,200 cals for the week. I won't eat less than 1400 cals a day as that is the minimum my body needs to function. Then I stagger my calories. 2 days a week I eat 1400. 3 days 1575, and one day 1900 and another 1745. This way I can have a bigger meal or dessert on specific days. I didn't do this at first and I don't suggest cutting too low at the start unless your doctor tells you to. Also this takes time. I used to feel I was sacrificing so much for little results but by far the biggest thing I've learned is patience. This is a slow process which is why its so important not to cut calories too low so you don't give up.
