My spirits have been high this week, I've had some time to really concentrate on the workouts at the gym. I'm usually pretty good about getting them done, the question is usually the scale of effort I have been doing at least 35 minutes on the elliptical and my goal of burning 450 calories in that time. This week I've averaged slightly above that! The gym has been crowded though due to all those news years resolution joiners so doing weights consistently has been tough as I have worked longer hours and gotten there later than when is best to catch the weight room decongested. I have little time to spend waiting for weight machines so I haven't been very good about it. I am trying to do weights more. Usually it means doing them on the weekend.

Anyway my boyfriend has been trying to lose as well, so now working on it together has been much more supportive! And because he is primarily the other person I cook for, since we are both trying to eat healthier and be more active its so much easier to cook the way I want to cook for me because now its for him too! We've also been able to talk about our goals and strategies a lot as well, I'm hoping maybe he'll join FS! We'll see, he's new to doing this very seriously so it will be an interesting adventure!
