Happy New Year FS buddies! I'm warm and comfy at home. The wind chill is 2°F and headed down. It was 64°F yesterday and 59°F this morning. WTF! It just seemed like a good night to hunker down in jammies with a glass of wine and a book. Most of my friends, family and I, who were considering going to the parties we were invited to, opted out. Somehow the idea of leaving a warm environment at 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning for a long drive home, lost it's appeal when the cold started to move in.
I used my Red Lobster gift card today and thoroughly enjoyed every bite, but I'm ready to hunker down tomorrow and get back on track. I had lunch with two friends who are starting a weight loss challenge on Monday where they work. I have clued them in to FS and I mentioned Spark People to them. I don't care for it, but I know people who prefer the brightness and business of it. I'm wishing them success in the new year.
I'm not sure I'm going to make it to 12:00, so I'm going to say, "Have a happy, prosperous new year and stay safe!"
