It is my pleasure... I had to hunt some type of explanation cause last week i exercised 6 days more than 30mins each session, ate less than a 1000 calories a day and my scale just went down 1kg. After seeing this i was the happiest girl in the world. We continie to celebrate small wins though💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

So are you saying that a stubborn scale reading after putting in the work could be water retention?

Sometimes when the scale is not moving I try a more "scientific" approach to bring me a bit of peace - for example for the month of November to date according to my diet calender on FS (baring in mind that perhaps the exercise calories burned might not be 100%) I have a caloric deficit of 15238 cal - if 3500 cal deficit means a pound lost, then 15238/3500/2,2 = almost 2kg lost weight, even if the scale might have some weight retention. It's not fool proof, because maybe I am burning more or less calories than FS estimates, but it helps me as well.

last time I dieted properly a few years ago I saw this on myself (dropped 10kg in 9 weeks on that diet). But twice during that time there was no real change in weight and then suddenly after a high carb larger supper I would go to the bathroom like 5 or 6 times that night and that was the water suddenly coming out and the weight coming off as such. There have been a couple of studies performed which show the effect, I only research these after the first big water loss. But don't buy into peoples stories that they are just retaining water, most are just retaining fat!
