If you drink lots of icy beverages with your food, the mixed messages to your body only worsen, she says. "When you drink cold liquids, your stomach will start contracting and it will massage the food that will again quickly leave stomach to the rest of the gastrointestinal track." This means your stomach will be empty sooner than normal, and you will be hungrier sooner.---
I'm not sure if I buy it, but I thought it was interesting.
My official weight in for the Boot Camp Challenge isn't until tomorrow, but I'm doing very well. I don't bother tracking ounces at this stage, so I drop the ounces and only record pounds. So if my weight was 200.00 or 200.99 I would just enter that as 200. Well today I was at 223.00 so I'm hoping to drop an ounce so I can enter 222 as my challenge weight... a five pound drop for week one.
