Burning it a both ends... ready for the holiday to be over. Finally got the tree up last night and a couple of other items...but the rest is staying in the boxes.
This time of year has brought in a lot of old customers I haven't seen since beginning this journey. I am completely humbled and giddy. I seriously have heard the following at least 20 times this week. "I didn't know you... I did a double take... what have you done?" Did you get a hair cut?"
Wow... why is it so hard to let those comments sink in? I say thank you... or share how...but I have had a couple of moments where the reaction was so strong I had to cover my face and say stop! I am thankful... I am not complaining at all.. it is just soooo..... weird. and wonderful.

Steve, how fantastic it is when people have to do a double take! I keep telling you how good you look and now it's time to believe it! I'm the same and can't get it into my head that I look different at all, I look in the mirror and see myself the same as when I started out! Andrew tells me every day how good I'm looking and my mum does as well when I see her! Other people just don't say any thing! In my head I just think that they only say these things because they love me but in photos and my clothes I know it's true! Thank god for a camera!

hahahaha! nice one, tig...and thanks, L! I think much of is that I don't want ANY momentum to stop.. I have had this mission mentality...and now that the fruit of my labors is apparent... I don't want to be distracted in anyway from my goal. I am already hearing " you aren't gonna lose anymore are you?" You'll be too skinny. Puh-leeeze...

Enjoy the compliments, I am sure it can be embarassing at times, kinda overwhelming but you deserve it for your amazing accomplishment! And enjoy the returning customers that you havnt seen for a while, that is a blessing!! Glad you got your tree up, mine is up with lights (I couldnt do them myself after the surgey and although they are not up to my 1000+ lights standards, at least there are enought that it is pretty. No decorations though, maybe the kids will do them now that they are home, maybe not.
