I have been trying to accurately record my calorie expenditures and intake with my android app. It seems that when I use 3500 more calories than I consume I lose 1 pound. I have found some Asian melons and squashes that have less calories and carbs than the standard fare found in the large "American" grocery stores. I am not hungry but spend quite a bit of time preparing food that is not available in restaurants. I have lost over 30 pounds in a more or less steady decline of 2 lbs each week since Sept 1st 2010.
