I think it is advised to not even lose more than one to two pounds a week. That is a great and sustainable rate of loss you had! Don't be discouraged!

Melissatw is correct! You don't want to lose too much too fast. You are doing awesome!! Congratulations on that drop!! 😊💜 Don't focus on the scale, focus on inches lost.

Any loss is good! It's all progress and every little bit adds up. Don't get discouraged because it's not as fast as you expected. Some weeks are like that. Your body is changing and adjusting to what you're doing. You'll get there.

You are doing fine. Just keep doing what you have planned to do. take a double check on your foods. Processed food, sodas, junk food, forgotten snacks. Are you weighing what you eat, in grams? That is the most accurate. Remember, your body is not a machine, there is no exact formula that will give you what you want, when you want it. It is not AMAZON. Give your way of eating a fair trial and then asses changes that you may want to make. One week in ? this is a lifestyle change . Also, evaluate your activity level. Cardia, like walking, is great but you also need to build strength and tone muscles. You can do it. Some really great role models her.

Always calibrate your scale by using a dumbbell or a fixed weight item. I weigh myself and then weigh a dumbbell, I'm surprised how often the scale will add a pound to my dumbbell when it shouldn't change. I use that information to adjust what my outcome should be. Also try your best to not drink your calories, keep up the hard work but make changes, sometimes your body will get use to things and won't change much at all.

1.4 pounds lost is awesome! It's 1.4 pounds less than you were before! So that's a great success. It means you ARE doing things right! I know when I don't lose as much as I want, I usually try to take a look at sodium. It's sneaky, and if I don't drink enough water to balance it out, it stalls my weight loss every time!

reconsider what you're saying! 1.4lbs=4,900 calories. that's 700 calories a day you lost!!!! that's on average 1/3 daily calorie count for average person. that's a victory and very hard to do!!!

1-2 lbs lost a week is HEALTHY. If you lost a lot of weight immediately, it’s mostly water weight anyways. The 1-2 lbs a week is the true weight loss that matters, keep it up 👏🏻
