I need to get healthier so I can chase after this little one! That and self-confidence are my motivators this time around.

Good for you. Truly, motivation is only good for the short term. It is habit and believing in the changes you are making in your that will make it doable for life. Portion control and moderation, healthier eating most of the time and less healthy once in a while is the winning combo. A combination of cardio activities, like walking, coupled with strength training is a winning combo as well. It helps to utilize calories eaten, and helps build and tone muscle for increased calorie burning and body reshaping. Excited to follow your progress.
