Gosh. Well, I will definitely NOT be weighing myself this week haha! Way too many good times and enjoying the extras in life this last week. BUT, according to Google, to maintain my weight, I can eat 1968 calories a day. Still, don't want to see the any upward movement... that will kill my mojo.

Google also says that to lose 0.5kg a week, I should really be getting to that 1500 calories a day. I would just need to do that for six weeks to hit my goal weight! Why oh why is it so hard? Makes me think that my goal weight is more like a 'dream' weight. Do I really want to be there that badly? I am pretty happy with my body the way it is, to be honest. I just remember it being liberating to be at my goal weight - like a super power. Then again, that was 10 years ago.

Time to adjust my expectations? Or be happy with losing VERY VERY slowly and hoping I stick with FatSecret until December?

I also feel like my age is definitely going to influence my end result seeing as we no longer early 20’s but I’m looking at it this way; if my goal is to look like what I looked like 10 years ago then maybe I’ll end up close to that realistically. Kind of like, shoot for the moon and you’ll land amongst the stars, but I do see people on here who look better than what they did a decade ago so who knows! Re your recommended daily calories, I’m 1.8m and my RDI isn’t that high so I don’t know. Also if you’re struggling to keep to 1500, I’ve found that IF 16:8 really helps to keep daily calories down because it’s minus one meal a day but you still get to munch down when you do. Keep your chin up, this is a marathon not speed race! 💖
