I feel like I have no control over my diet recently. I want to eat healthily but I always make the wrong choices because I am lazy. I wish those days when I put 100% effort to reach my goal and my fitness level was good.
At the moment, I do not consider myself fat compared to when I first started fatsecret. I'm not skinny either. I'm alright. However, I'm tired of gaining and losing weight over and over again. Besides, I'm very weak. I did some heavy calisthenics (less than 10) and I felt giddy and nauseated. Oh my!
I have also been trying to update my diet calendar religiously although I do fail to record everything I eat some time because I snack too much tidbits. Calorie counting can be quite stressful for me at times.
I stumbled across "21 day no junk food challenge" and I thought why not. It may help me with start eating healthy again even though I will break the rules some days. It's better than not doing anything at all or binging furiously (I had lamington with thickened cream the day before). I hate binging but it's hard to resist it. I do not want to give myself any excuse. Frankly, I'm weak-minded.
For the next 21 days, my taste buds are refrained to go near: - Chocolate (except dark chocolate) - Candy - Cookies and biscuits - Cake and donuts - Pastries - White bread - Chips - Fast food - Nutella, maple syrup and other spread-like things.
The challenge also comes with a daily question to answer, to help motivate anyone who joins this challenge as he/she goes.
Day 1: What is your current weight and what would you like it to be? Day 2: What is your favorite part of your body? Day 3: If you were at your ultimate goalweight right now what piece of clothing you buy/wear? Day 4: What is your favorite healthy snack or treat? Day 5: What is your exercise routine? Day 6: Do you binge? If so, when was your last binge and how did it make you feel? Day 7: What was the last compliment you remember receiving? What is the best compliment you could possibly receive? Day 8: Have you got any tips or tricks to keep yourself from eating junk food? Day 9: What is your favorite type of exercise? Day 10: What do you like in a partner? (as irrelevant as this seems, I think they're talking about, like, a significant other...) Day 11: Which part of being healthy do you struggle with the most? Diet? Exercise? Sleep? Mental Health? Day 12: Why do you want to be fit? Day 13: Do you have a special event coming up that you want to look good for? Who would you like to impress? Day 14: Do you like yourself? How do you deal with negative feelings? What do you like the most about yourself? Day 15: How do you feel after two weeks junk free? How have you found the last two weeks? Day 16: Do you do weight training, cardio or both? What is your favorite and least favorite exercise? Day 17: What are your top 3 reasons for being healthy? Day 18: Do you go to the beach? Do you wear a bikini? How do you feel when you do so? Would you like to feel differently? Day 19: Who do you look up to health/fitness-wise? What is it that you admire most? Day 20: What is your ultimate fitness goal? Day 21: How do you feel? Have you noticed any changes in yourself?
As mentioned, I do not know if I can stick to be sweet-free for 21 days. However, I promise I will get back up once I fall and I will never give up!
