*sigh* I started this journey about 2 months ago. I have been up and down, but nowhere near where I had hoped to be. If anything I've managed to stay almost exactly where I have been when I started. I'm frustrated. I'm angry. Most of all I am disappointed in myself. My lack of self discipline is questionable. I want to feel better about myself. I need to, because I want to accept myself.

Hey I wanna suggest something. Try writing something you like about your body today. even if it's like your eyelids or something...haha I know it sounds ridiculous and I know you are disheartened rn but you have a complete second half of the year to not lose lose weight but to start loving you. One thing I do when I am particularly not feeling like I'm making any progress in my journey is I will eat right, exercise but I won't look at a mirror for like two weeks. I trust my body and the fact that if I do the right things it should catch up. Use your clothes to measure how much you've lost..just feeling your jeans are looser really helps especially when the numbers don't. Don't give up and hey that's what this community is about because we've all been in some way through the struggle of weight loss and its many high and lows. Have a great week ahead on purpose 😊

Yes we do , and honestly the mistakes and setbacks we have are part of the growth process. We learn from them and it helps in ensuring we move forward in the right way. It just takes a shift of focus from how much you're losing to just everyday trying to eat as healthy as you can and not minding the rest. Sometimes that's all you need to get back into the right mindset.

@Lisachan, I can relate. I’ve said similar words to myself, many times. Let’s keep trying🤗

Hi the last few words was as if you was talking to me , accepting myself is what I also am working towards. Why is this so hard ?

Try to love yourself the way you are right now to take the stress out of it, enjoy what you are doing and the rest will follow. Print out some affirmations and read them every time you are feeling blue. It helps me to keep trying 🤗

dont be so hard on yourself. nothing will be right for u unless you realise that nothing is perfect or absolute, it's just a journey. what worked for me is going completely vegan for 7 days then vegan for 6 days and one day meat. worked well for me. loosing 500g a week is decent .
