jlkpcktt's Journal, 30 May 20

After a couple of days of doing less exercise to what I'm used to, I'll be back in check on the weekend. Made a new batch of pumpkin/cumin soup which is tasty and relatively filling. Also a great meal for these cooler times.

Good job 👍. I swear by cauliflower zucchini broccoli 🥦 Soup. Do it with some onion 🧅 and garlic 🧄 chilli 🌶 and curry powder . And stock. Boil it till cooked and blend till smooth. Add some coriander One lady lost 4 kg in one week at weight watchers after eating it every day. She named it “miracle soup “. And said with a Scottish accent was pretty funny so miracle soup it’s remained. Lol But it’s seriously good

I use this as a base - https://www.fatsecret.com.au/recipes/pumpkin-cumin-soup/Default.aspx Though I measure everything out and it comes to something like this Massel chicken stock, mixed with 1L water kent pumpkin, usually around 750g, but the more the better really 2 brown onions 1tsp cumin ~100g zucchini, chopped 1 tbps of minced garlic - I usually don't get cloves 1 tbps extra virgin olive oil for the onions and garlic
