day 1: exercise still looks like very difficult to me. i need to join some class. the miser me ..until i pay for some class i will never go for it..i hate to walk on treadmill..i think everyday i will just walk for an hour in the market. i will also walk and window shop..i think it should help. eating wise i think i have it under control except for carbs. i cant give up eating whole grain as i am a veggie and need fibre which the rotis provide..potato i dont even like very much so can give up....so i think sugar etc everything is in chcek except the exercise bit...lemme see what i can do abt it...i have been seeing since past so many days now..i am actually disgusted with myself now

actually South Beach diet is really about eating good carbs and staying away from bad carbs. Your food journal really looks pretty good but South Beach would make popcorn a occassional treat. Are you eating brown rice? and fruit should not be eaten at breakfast but with a meal or.. eat fruit with a protein.. like apple with natural peanut butter or fruit with low fat cheese. Here is a website that might help you; http://www.southbeach-diet-plan.com/shoppinglist_p1.htm it has a food list of what is allowed and how much. good carbs from veggies are not limited. There is lots of other helpful information there. Good luck to you. I love the south Beach plan, its easy to live with
