Good morning

Stopping in to say hi. Have so much going on I'm not around much on here. A quick check of the journals tells me everyone sounds like they're doing pretty well.

Hubby and I made a last minute decision to go to Seattle for our anniversary, so Saturday morning, we headed up that way, dropped son off at brother's, then went on in to Seattle. Visited the Pike's Place Fish Market, then went on to the Space Needle. Although it was pretty cool to be 520 feet up in the air looking out over the city, not sure it was really worth the $16 per person... We contemplated eating at the restaurant there, Sky City, but with their MINIMUM $35 per person rule, we decided not to. Went back into Tacoma (where my mom, brother and sister live), checked into our hotel, then had Mexican for dinner-- hubby likes his margaritas, and we hit happy hour, so that was nice. Had my sister join us for about an hour which was really fun. Hubby and I went back for a nice private night at the hotel :)

Tried to get hold of BT yesterday with hopes of getting together since I was so close, but no such luck. Someday my old friend and I will really reconnect....

Not doing well still on healthy eating. Just cannot seem to get my mind wrapped around it again. I don't know what it is... new position, upcoming move, relationship going well.... just not into it. Hubby is making a trip to his brothers house in Texas this weekend to see bro and dad, but when he gets back, I'm saying "That's it!" He told me yesterday that he would like to lose 50 pounds... "Do you think I can do it by Christmas?" he asked me--- That's a lot to lose in 3 months-- I don't know. For sure, it will be easier for me to get back on track if he is, too.

Kids are doing great. Youngest daughter asked me yesterday if I would take her shopping today for a homecoming dress. I wasn't sure if she would ever be interested in dances and stuff, so I'm pretty excited to take her out and see what we can find.

Hope all is well in FS land. I feel as though I've really lost touch. Keep in touch!

WHAT!?!? Man... not even fair! =( I turn my phone off during church and must have forgotten to turn it back on afterwards. I'd loved to meet ya for dinner!! WAaaaah! Oh well... it would have really messed up my scales! lol :) Sounds like you had a fun time, though. Btw... the drinks up there are to die for!! Emerald city sipper.... 2 of them and your teeth are numb!! LOL We ate there for our 5th anni... man we've been here too long. It was really good, but yes... spendy! Good to hear that you are doing well and sounds like you are back on track to kickin' butt! Go get 'em girl!
