I'm challenging myself to do something I have been meaning to do for maybe a year, and that is to paint our garden gates, and garden/patio walls. I've done one area and we had our dinner there last evening, it's pristine. I haven't been able to relax much in the garden/patio as my eyes kept roaming over the bits that needed attention. I even went sat in the area and read a chapter of my book last evening.
The painting has been split up in areas to make the task manageable.
As my husband says, how do you eat an elephant? Answer, a bit at a time!

what a lovely goal. do you enjoy music? I always paint better when I am listening to music!!! anyway...great way to fit in activity...and accomplish something special for yourself at the same time :) Don't worry about the weight...it will come, just keep doing what you're doing...and don't forget your water!
