I am cleaning out my pantry. You know, to walk into my house all appearances are that I am an average, normal person. Pristine, artfully decorated living room, fastidious kitchen with never an unwashed dish in the sink, but underneath I am a closet hoarder. Why am I having such a hard time throwing out old pantry items I have saved "just in case?" I confess I have actually put BACK expired food. I think hoarding is part of my eating disorder - oh yes I have one. I wouldn't be using fatsecret if food weren't a problem for me. Well, today I am throwing out all those expired, over-sized, or unhealthy foods I have been hoarding. Wish me luck. I am already having misgivings about the #10 size can of sliced black olives that are there JUST IN CASE I have a chance to make tapenade for a crowd.
