Well the pumpkin 'custard' I made last night was OK-the other one I can't find the recipe for is better, but I still liked this one. I did not get to have the pumpkin pancakes this morning because DH made me an omelete and bacon :)
Hoping to see some sort of loss this week since I have up'd my veggies. TOM just left so maybe I'll see something by Friday.
~Happy Wednesday!

Good Luck Msamy. I love the holidays and all the pumpkin flavored stuff. I used to love pumpkin ice cream from Braums and Pumpkin Lattes from Starbucks - not sure how to get my pumpkin fix this year but I think they make a pumpkin spice coffee I can brew.

I was never a big pumpkin fan until I had the pumpkin MIM and now I seem to want it all the time LOL I know I have that other recipe somewhere...I'll have to find it.

was the pumpkin custard from linda's site? I printed that yesterday, and was trying to figure out how to incorporate it with a low carb cheesecke for thanksgiving. After reading everyones posts yesterday on plans to get through the holidays, everyone always asks me to make dessert even though I dont eat it myself, I got the idea. Maybe do the custard and after it cools, put a no bake cheesecake on top

I am trying to invent a recipe for pumpkin cream pie for Thanksgiving. I got the Key Lime, Lemon Creme, and Black Cherry-Chocolate Fudge. Hubby loves them. Now I am going to attempt to make a pumpkin creme. I have some pumpkin in the freezer that I processed last fall, that I am going to use. May as well, since I cannot eat regular pumpkin pie this year.

LOL, Bates. Last year I UPS'd some home made jams to US Virgin Islands to a friend that I met on line!! Don't think that the pie would be as shippable though!

FF I looked at linda's site yesterday-the thing about this recipe is it makes like 1 little ramakin bowl full-it's not a big recipe-I wish I could remember where it is. I have many back up versions from my computer since I am geeky that way so maybe I will search those when I get home. Stef if you come up with a pumkin cream pie I would LOVE to have that recipe :)
