Just started yesterday. What I ate was 98% of RDI and I did lose a bit of weight, so the RDI is probably OK, providing I keep to a half hour moderate walking. Experimented with loading up a regular plate with a chicken dinner and found it came to 578 kcals, so will need to load a plate with quite a bit less than this next time.
