Well i went MIA again, and it shows.i am only down 2lbs, and that is mostly because i have been doing well the last 4 days. I have let stress from work take control of me, but i am not letting it sprial and get out of control.

i had lost sight of my mini goals getting overwhelmed by the long term goal. i guess my major problem is that i show no motivation for myself.

When i stepped on the wii this evening it was a wake up call seeing i went 13 days with out getting on my favorite exercise buddy. and in that i realized i hadnt wrote on here either. i have been getting motivation by trying to support people, but i know i cant do that with out logging on.

When i did check my weight, i had to stop and say "youre down from 317, so thats 20lbs since may, so dont give up" and by the same tokin i was 350 at the start of the year, so i have to focus on the fact that i am down for the first time from the point i started to consistantly put on weight 2 years ago.

I have about 2 weeks until my vacation, and i will stop feeling sorry for myself and get back on track.

Thanks for this forum for letting me vent and talk about dieting and my struggles. I will not give up!

You should not go into hiding, though I totally understand the feeling. Great job getting back here..you're doing great 'cause you're still going down, and you're having realizations about yourself that help you stay on track. As you know, this is a process and there will be times when you just aren't on track--I know, talk to the brownie I just ate! But you can ALWAYS get back on track--a slip is not a bad thing, but an opportunity to figure out the motivations behind them! Glad to see you here again!
