I CLIMBED THE MOUNTAIN TODAY! I usually wait for friends to ask me to go hiking because I really don't like it that much, but today was such a BEAUTIFUL day in New England I needed to get outside and do something. I brought my 9 year old son, my camera and plenty of water...we actually took the steep-less traveled way up and I was thinking we would go the easier way down. Which I am happy to say my son wanted to go back down the harder way. TRUST ME...there were a couple of times I wanted to turn around, but I was envisioning taking a picture at the top that I could put in place of my current BIO photo which will help me to look at during less productive days! My husband is in California working and won't be home til Thanksgiving, my 20 year old daughter is in Savannah, Georgia going to college and my 19 year old son is off and will be at school in Tahoe...so for now til my younger son and I move to California at the end of December I will have to come up with something to keep us productive til then...keep moving!

I FEEL GREAT!!!! Ask me tomorrow how i'm feeling. I just looked at my calendar and am playing raquetball in the morning with my friend who we kick eachothers butts! IF I don't loose a couple of pounds in the next couple of days - I WILL BE GETTING MY THYROID CHECKED!

Great job seizing the day. I think anytime you have an inkling to exercise you need to recognize it as motivation and pounce. Sounds like you're off to a great start.
