I AM GOING ON 4 MILE HIKE with my 9 year old son in about 10 minutes!
I am a little nervous because it is fairly difficult, but in the EAST coast today it is BEAUTIFUL with fall foilage...I am taking my pedometer-is that the right term?- so I will let you all know how many step I take...

Must be the day for hikes! I am taking my 8 year old son on a hike today that is 5 miles. It is a pedometer and I don't remember how many steps you are suppose to do in a day. Good luck on your hike!
