I am bummed. I went to Weight Watchers this morning to get an accurate weigh in because I failed to do that this past week before I started the program back up I was relying on my generic scale at home which was fluctuating between loosing weight and gaining. I was absolutely &*%@#$% when the scale said 167.2...that means when I go to my weight history in fatsecret I am starting up instead of down. I was so bummed I ran directly to Starbucks looking for the FATTEST, GREASIEST,thing I could find on the menu---McDonalds flashed through my mind- just down the street....then I took a deep breath as I ordered a 1/2 water - 1/2 regular coffee and out the door I went...I can't look at this as a set-back, but an HONEST and REAL look at where I really am. I am remembering this past April whe I started Weight Watchers and weighed 166 at the start and that I was down to 158 when I allowed myself to go off my healthy eating. Now I am almost up 10 pounds from that time and have even more poundage to loose...Because I am able to journal I am at least getting it down and out of my brain so I can let it go.......thanks for listening!

If you check out my graph... you will see that my first proper weigh-in was above my original sign-up weight. I too discovered that my home scales weren't working properly, so landed up going out and buying some new digital scales. So don't worry about that too much... just be patient and in a couple of weeks that chart will be going significantly down! Just keep positive and take each day as it come... good luck to you! :o)

I am so proud of you that you still ordered coffee at starbucks instead of some fattening high calorie drink. I just got started a couple of weeks ago. Even tough I just had a baby five months ago, it is still hard to lose that weight and hate they way you look afterwards. I was so cute pregnant, then bam. Anyway, you can do it.

Hey RealtoUrban, you are from Minnesota? My husband's family lives in Deer River!! I always crack up at the way his mom and sisters talk! what a cute accent! do you have it too?? I'll bet you're a Lutheran too!! (is there any other religion for those Minnesotian-Scandanavians?!) LOL. Oh, and did you know (you gotta like football!) that the Vikings are playing Dallas Cowboys tomorrow? In our house, this is a war in the making! kids against dad...and poor me caught in the middle (yeah right!) I'm gonna root against whoever is on my last nerve tomorrow...which will probably be my husband!! LOL

oh yea - you betcha....I'm from Stillwater which is on the St.Croix River which borders Wisconsin...so I actaully am from a suburb of Mpls/St/Paul......next town over is the cheeseheads....your hubby must be from deer country....possibly a hunter/fishing...I was brought up a Catholic...another story in itself. ARE YOU KIDDING ME ABOUT MOVING? I am pyched. I like being around people and seeing neighbors instead of wild turkeys and deer...give me people over animals anyday! Hey, my husband is from England...........
