Maintaining today...that's fine. I ate just over my RDI yesterday. But, I made good choices. I made lunch for Hubby & I & tweaked mine to be lower in calories. I used the same 100 calorie buns for both but he got more ham, higher calorie cheese and regular chips on the side. I used a Laughing Cow Cheese wedge as a spread and parmesan crisps on the side.
I tried some quinoa & rice I bought at Aldi for dinner...only 1/2 cup serving lowered the calories. I had been thinking I'd try the cauliflower rice but Hubby may have nixed that today. We saw a commercial advertising it & Hubby said no way. Since we only eat rice occasionally now, choosing more veggies as sides, it's not a big deal. I actually have problems substituting veggies for meat, tofu etc. I don't like the texture. I'd rather eat a smaller portion of the real thing.
No walk yesterday cause of rain, but the sun is shining brightly today. It's cold, but we can dress warmly. I did do some basic stretches & exercises yesterday. My arms & legs could use some firming up. Not even sure of the possibilities, since I'm older. Old skin only bounces back so much 😐 I definitely feel better in my clothes, but that young body is long gone.
