One more...

https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/d3ewwy/how-to-lose-fat-without-losing-muscle

(1) Don't cut calories too much.

(2) Don't reduce - in fact INCREASE - protein!

(3) Reducing carbs is unnecessary while trying to lose fat.

(4) Get sleep.

Be patient... it takes a long time to do it right and not regress later. Simplicity > overcomplcation 👍🏻

Deprivation diets have a rebound effect. I would eat about 2.5 times that many calories and move more, wazzab. You'll feel better and avoid binges. There is a reason 95% of dieters fail eventually. The link above is uses actual studies done at universities. I'd take those over some youtube doc any day. Way too many charlatans out there.

I can finally follow the sleep part of this! On a new sleep med that allows me to sleep more solidly and not wake up every hour. Good post as usual!

I don't know how people can only eat 800 calories and not be miserable & hungry. And how can you possibly get enough nutrition from that?
