I've been craving a glazed donut (or two) for three days now. It's about to drive me nuts. It's so rare for me to have cravings that last for days. Still have not gotten a way to weigh.

Aww I hate cravings. It has been a while since I have had one. Don't really know what advice to give. I usually hold out because everytime I tell myself that I will have one (of whatever I'm craving) and give in, I seem to crave it more. So sometimes it is better just to find a low-cal substitute and move on. Whatever you do..stay strong.

I am constancy making substitutes for my craving. There is always a healthy way to make something. Try this: 1 piece of wheat bread I can't believe it is butter spray Cinnamon Sugar free syrup Heavy spray butter on toast and top with cinnamon. Brown the toast and then server with your syrup. It is about 100 calories. Let me know if this helps.

My theory is everything in moderation... you're craving a glazed donut then get ONE through drive thru dunkin donuts or tim hortons or whatever, go home and pour yourself a big glass of water and really savor it. Glazed donuts are usually not the *highest* in calories, just factor the 250-300 calories into your calories for the day and you are fine!! Then you will satisfy your craving to the best you can and it will be over. Bring a trusted friend or family memeber with you if you are a little scared you won't be able to only order one. And don't get roped into buying a 6 or 12 pack because they are cheaper! just ONE! Or you can try a substitute if that is what works for you. Its not what works for me though so I can't endorse it. That just leads me to binges

When I get that kind of craving I take some pork rinds, brush on some melted butter then sprinkle with splenda and cinnamon. yummy.
