Not much to report although I made the most delish Jambalaya last night with brown rice. Man, it was so good and so hard not to eat more than a serving. I didn't though. I was really scared to eat more than my share of brown rice but my weight stayed steady. Now I have to make it through the weekend. I think I may get myself and elliptical or stationary bike for an early christmas present. The only time I have for myself is after the kids are in bed and so I could work out and watch my favorite shows. My husband doesn't want a machine in the bedroom but I guess he will just have to get over it!! :) I have a treadmill but it is really bulky and loud and I am afraid it may wake the baby if I walk after he is asleep. Plus my husband left it outside in the rain while we were moving so I doubt if it even works anymore. Any suggestions on an affordable, effective exercise machine?

Good job at limiting yourself to one serving. That's very hard to do when you've done a good job on a recipe. I'm not sure about treadmills but I believe I saw a Consumer Report on them (a while ago). Keep up the good work!

Yay, for you! I try to have a little protein before I eat something that "concerns" me, to give my tummy something to "naw" on before I may over eat. :) I am not sure about which machine might work, but I'm thinking about doing the same thing! Can't swing it just yet, but if I can run acrossed one that will fit, I'd like to do the same... and same here, hubby prolly wouldn't like it much either! lol OH well!
