Wow...I didn't realize that I ate less than 1000 calories yesterday. I wasn't hungry in the morning so I just didn't eat. I guess maybe I was anticipating eating a huge lunch with the BBQ, who knows. I'm proud of myself. I have been eating fish, I don't really like it. But I am trying. Hubby has been supportive trying to find fishs that don't smell fishy nor taste fishy (a contradiction, I know) for me. Gotta love him sometimes. I found out that barge is a real meaty fish and it doesn't stink when being cooked as well as tasted yummy (and not fishy). Tilapia taste pretty good when it is smoked in the smoker with some lemon and cucumber. The smoke flavor hides the fish taste. LOL I am picky when it comes to seafood what can I say?!

I am excited hubby is actually working out with the P90X as well. However, he doesn't have the same problems I have and he is doing a different program within the system so we don't have the same work outs on the same days and he doesn't do some of what I'm doing. So he doesn't understand why I get upset when I'm not able to do some of it. He is way more fit than I am to begin with. Oh well. Hubby and son are fully on board now. YEAH!

Plans for rest of day are to finish my book that I am having trouble finding time to read. Then have late lunch and something new for dinner not sure what yet. Then I have Cardio X later oh and I joined a new challenge that is going to help me run on the treadmill by the end of 10 weeks. I also have to try to get my brat in bed earlier today since school starts next week. He has been going to be at 1am. No more of that. I know tonight will definitely be a fight with him. Not looking forward to that.

Hope everyone is having a Happy Monday!

I'm in the same boat as you with getting the kids to bed at a decent time to get ready for school starting. Starting tomorrw I'm waking them up at 7am and no naps during the day..they'll be falling out as soon as it gets dark...lol. I can't wait for school to start. The first month home together was fun, now I'm ready for them to go back to school. I've never heard of Barge. I'm going to look for it next time I go to the grocery store.

If you do everything you can and moderate what you can't physically do than you are still 100% ahead of the game of those who do not try!! Keep up the good work. As far as your fish worries -- Tilapia marinated over night in Italian (lite of course) dressing and then grilled (either stove top or wrapped in foil on the gas grill) is one of my favorite ways to get in the fish. I'm ok with baked salmon, tuna or rock fish too.
