So I had another lack luster week on the scale. Though at times I am getting really frustrated, because I only lost 5 pounds in 6 weeks, and feel that I have followed my diet and excercised more during those 6 weeks then I did at any point during this adventure.

That being said...I am holding onto the fact that this weekend I bought a size 16 skirt (was wearing size 20 when I started this journey) and I bought a sun dress that was a size large! This definilty helps keep me motivated, and to not just look at the number on the scale.

We are going on vacatio next week to the beach with family and a few friends. So I am kind of worried about what the week will bring. I still want to be able to have fun, and have a "few" drinks. But we are planning smart. Going to stock up on fruits and veggies and healthy snacks. And will take lunch meats, tuna and bread that we eat to have on hand for lunches at the condo. I think the hardest parts will be going out to eat cuz there are just so many wonderful things to eat there, hitting the boardwalk (and staying away from Ice Cream and French Fries), and the late night snacking that usually comes with drinking.

I am hoping that planning ahead will help minimize the damage next week.
