Well, I'm up 2 pounds, but that's okay. I had been losing quite fast, and not for the right reasons, and I had a very enjoyable weekend, so it's all good!
My SF trip didn't turn out to be much fun-- had to get up Wednesday morning at 3:30 to get ready and catch my plane by 6, so by the time I was done working at 7 pm, I was too tired to do anything but go the hotel and sleep! I am going back down this week, though, and will be there for 6 days, so I plan to get some time in on the weekend.
Friday night I took the kids to a friends for a BBQ and fireworks display. Had tons of food, as well as alcohol, so not great for the eating, but, like I said, that's okay! They had over $1600 worth of fireworks, so the show lasted about an hour and a half-- better than the ones put on by the city, I think!
Saturday, myself and 3 of my girl friends all went to a nearby resort (Bonneville Dam Resort) and spent the night in a room with a hot tub on the deck. We had a great time, just hanging out, having a few drinks, watching movies, and relaxing. Food was good there, too, although WAY too expensive! Got home yesterday to find the hubby here, ready to talk and come home. So, yes, he is at home, but a lot to still work on. I am not going to be the pushover that I've been so much for the last 16+ years. I now have friends, I have done stuff on my own, I know that I look good and am attractive to others, and I have so much more confidence than I did a month ago, it amazing!!
So, anyway, that was basically my week. I am planning to really get back on track this week-- not so much to lose any more weight per se (maybe 10 pounds more, but we'll see), but more to maintain and make sure that these 2 pounds don't keep adding up and turn into 20!
