I posted this in response to my new friend Tatauu tonight. But I actually wanted to elevate it to an actual journal entry because I think it's worth saying for folks who are still on a weight loss journey. After all, we all are at different stages of our journeys... Good health is your gift to YOURSELF. In all modesty, I was still a great dad, husband, and friend when I weighed 350 pounds. Don't let your personal health journey fully define you. I wouldn't trade any one of my years for my current healthier self. It's great to be thinner, but I was no less myself for all those years. And all of you still on your journey -- remember how wonderful you are to those around you. Bill
