I went to the dr on 9/18. I had gained close to 50 lbs in just 8-10 months, am experiencing heat intolerance, am peri-menopausal, and always feel like I have no energy. I weighed in at 269 lbs. i was mortified. she ordered blood tests. results came back with low functioning thyroid and pre-diabetes. she recommended a low carb diet and more activity. will be following up with her on the lab results next month to see if meds are required. so I began my low carb journey on 9/19/19. since then I have lost a total of 16 lbs. I went from 269 to 253. but I didn't find this app until I was already on my upward weight gain thanks to my monthly cycle. I haven't cheated at all. dont really want to either. I don't like self sabotage.
