No fooling around with new recipes today,2 days was enough for now.
haven't given up the idea of trying new things,just taking a break.

No mountains this morning,partly cloudy skies. Walk was nice,it always
amazes me to see a mockingbird challenge a hawk.Boy they just don't care what size the predator is,they just keep attacking.Brave little
birds! I have even seen them go after my eagles.

Here it is the weekend,thinking of 2 weeks from now when we go out to
the beach.Its not the best time of the year to be out there,but sitting
under the umbrella drinking ice water with lemon,feeling the ocean
breeze makes it okay.

I wasted so much product yesterday from baking and cooking but thats way it goes. DH ask,what was I looking for as far as taste was concern
Who knows!Can't answer that.

I can tell you this,feel very strong,took me awhile to get to this place but I knew once I could achieve the right attitude nothing will
stand in the way.Many throw up the hands type of thinking,many tears
many pity parties.This did not happen overnight.Its been a very long
process.You know what I'm talking about,you all have been there,done
that.This site works because we understand each others feelings and
support whatever we do.

So buddies,FS friends thats all the preaching for the weekend.

Morning sunshine! It's raining this morning and we're expecting thunderstorms. Should make for an interesting day. I hear you on the recipes. I am ashamed to admit it, but I waste a lot of food playing around with different concoctions and recipes too. So I think I will just stick with what I know and venture on. So, what beaches are you going to be visiting?

I do know exactly what you mean about the right attitude. It's deep internal commitment that goes far beyond the typical, "OK, I'm going to go on a diet," "I've GOT to lose some of this weight," etc. Enjoy the weekend!

Yes - it definitely took a very deep commitment to go on and stay on this food plan despite a few bumps in the road. I have some birdfeeders on my deck and I saw a beautiful hummingbird that I know you would enjoy today. They are just so tiny and so amazingly cute!
