BeautiBabe's Journal, 04 Aug 10

I gained 2 lbs. I am pissed! I have been working my a$$ off and instead of losing I gain. uuugggghhhhh!!! I know muscle weighs more than fat. I also know that I've gained muscle not fat. However, it doesn't make it any better. Especially when I have a goal to reach by a certain date. I'm frustrated. How long am I going to gain before I see the results of those muscles I'm building start to work at burning up the stored fat on my body!? Now my mood is so gloom and the day just started! Oh well. I am not giving up because I am tired of being FAT! I want to be thin. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this...I WILL DO THIS!!!

At least the gain makes since to you. I plan on measuring myself tonight so I can have something other than the scale to go by during the challenge. A sticky thread for that may be helpful to keep everyone motivated when the scale is lying to us about the great job we are doing...oh, yeah...I just stole your rain cloud so now you can't hide in it's gloom anymore! Nothing left but sunshine and bright days!

Thanks hun! I think I will add that sticky thread to the challenge. I didn't think about that but I bet other people will sure go through what I went through this morning. Thanks for pushing that cloud out my sight!

Hang in there Babe! You most likely knew it wasn't gonna be easy. This minor set back can only inspire you to keep on going. Patience and consistency is the name of the game. Just get your water and keep on doing those reps!

We all have our ups and down weeks! It will all even itself out :] I also messured myself, It DEFINATLY helps when you dont lose or if you gain. I dont do it all the time tho. The other day I hadnt done it for 3 months and I took them and I have lost 12 inches total all over my body!! That made me feel great! Hope you feel better soon, It will pass, just keep your goal in sight!!

I have to agree on the measuring! I measure once a month but after my last measurement I think you may be able to see results every 2 weeks. It's a far better judge of how well you're doing than the scale. Don't get discouraged! You're doing great & you're going to meet your goal! = )
