If you have ANY sugar it will keep you out of ketosis. If you stick to it 100% it will do all the work for you. Please read the book so you understand why ANY variation off the plan can throw you off like this. It is very important. Good luck.

People who lose 10 pounds are probably over 300 pounds to start. You should never compare yourself to any one else. We all lose differently based on age, genetics, body size, amount we exercise, et. A 4 pound weight loss in 2 weeks is great. Large loss's can also mean large saggy skin. Small loss's enable the skin to have more time to get some elasticity. You are doing fine!

The roast beef sounds great but you should probably try to have breakfast also. Getting enough to eat is important with this as well as what you eat. You're doing great. Hang in there.

All good points!! On Atkins you should never go longer than 6 hours without eating - and he advocates trying to eat something every 4 hours. You should especially be eating lots of fat and protein together. I think you are doing great!! I have been moving super slow - but it is coming off!! I have lost quickly in the past and it just never stays off - so give yourself some time. And Sara is right - you need to reread the book - or if you haven't already read it - read it!! It will help you figure out what you may be doing wrong. Let us know what we can help with!!
