So tonight I go to a BBQ. Have no idea what is being served. I ate my normal lunch and tonight I will eat anything I want keeping portion control in mind. I do not drink my calories when I am out so will stick to water. And, when I am reasonably full I will stop eating. Period. Not motivation — habit. I Won’t count calories or carbs or anything else. It doesn’t matter. It is one meal in hundreds that I hope I have in the future. I’m not crazy about BBQ sauce so if everything is covered in it it will make my choices easy.

The BBQ went really well. Lots of fun.. The host family did not eat BBQ sauce either so the meat was not cooked with it on. We had fabulous steak and my all time favorite——WILD BOAR. For those who have never tasted it, it is amazing. Much like port but has a sweet flavor to. It. We had several salads options and desert was grilled peaches, plums, watermelon and nectarine. Couldn’t have been a better meal for me. Wine, water and ice tea were served. No sodas..
