I've changed my diet a bit. It's a bit Atkins and a bit calorie-counting. Atkins does not work for me if I ignore calories.

I hit on the cabbage soup thing to get more liquid inside me and to find ways of making veg palateable without having to have them swimming in cream or butter. That saves calories. Except I don't like the soup without a dash of cream, which adds 100 calories to each serving.

Filling up on the soup to stop me being hungry, and adding meat to get my protein.

Hopefully if I do the calorie thing it will make eating out easier.

I am still going to avoid sugar though, and chocolate. I could so easily binge.

I had a hard time on Atkins, I just never lost. it drove me nuts, I do much better if I get lots of lean protein in me. hope it works, keep trying!
