Well here I am. 300 lbs. I'm so very sad & mad at myself for letting it get to this point. I have to do something now, or I never will. I have trouble just walking around a store without massive back pain & needing to sit down for a few minutes, until I can continue walking. So here I am friends, back to try this out again. This is my first day & I hope I stick with it! Last time my exercise bike broke & I just gave up. Now I'm back 40 lbs heavier than I was then. I have just about lost hope I will ever be a normal size ever again. Sorry to be such a downer, but at least I'm here, right? Here I go, please wish me luck!

Better to stop today than tomorrow, or next year. Friendly reminder that while working out is good for your overall health, the number one thing you should be looking at is your nutrition. Good luck!

Just seeing all of your comments & I have to say, I am so overwhelmed with all of your support! Thank you all so much! I'm going to do my best to eat better, stay within my calories allotted, & not to beat myself up. I'm not sure what MACROS are, if someone could fill me in I would appreciate it greatly! I am going to be getting another exercise bike soon, but I think I will focus more on my calories this time around. Thank each & every one of you for your encouraging comments, they really put a fire underneath me! I want this & I'm not going to let anything get in my way this time! This app helped me before, but now with a community behind me, it can only be better! Thank you all! 💙

MACROS are the amount of fats, protinen and carbs in the food you eat. You need 10 - 30 % carbs, 40 -50% protein, and 30 - 40% fat. You wa t the percentage to add up to 100%. I don't know how to decide how much of each to chose. So i am trying to get carbs 10%, protine 50%, and fat 40% to add up to 100%. That being said I am having a hard time, all mine are out of whack. If you figure anything out let me know. lol

Thank you Madfoxmade, I appreciate the knowledge! Lol I'm not even close to figuring that out yet, but I will give it a try!

I would not worry that much about macros if you chose a calorie deficit approach (It is often referred to as CICO - Calories in, calories out - idea being you spend more than you take in and therefore lose). Makros do refer to the macronutrients in foods, fat, protein and carbohydrates. When you log food here you will see fat secret give you numbers for each and (at least on the web one) provide a pie chart. But start with just planning around foods.

Thanks Liv001, that's the approach I was going to take. The macros are interesting though! This app has really changed a lot & for the better it seems since the first time I was here a few years ago! Theres a lot more to it! I'm just gonna start with calories, then work my way up lol!
