So I just got back from a 2 weeks missions trip to Spain. I didn't weigh in immediately after I returned but I was up to 168! It was difficult eating healthy since we didn't have the liberty to chose our meals. And I was surprised to learn tnjat it is the custom to eat a 3 course meal at every sitting. Our meals were also served pretty late in the day. Breakfast @ 10:30 lunch at 2pm and dinner @ 10:30! Most of the food was a bit too gamey for my taste so I often ate the white breat roll with olive oil and the dessert cuz it was just irresistable, and the random snacks that were offered cuz waiting 8 hrs for dinner makes no sense. Although we did A LOT of walking, why I was surprised to see how much weight I was gaining...

Then I got back home and had to face the reality of my life...need to finish packing up my apt for the end of the month move, get back to the routine of work and try to get it all settled in while still hunting for a car.

So today I walked into the kitchen at work to find boxes and boxes of chocolate covered almonds...(for some reason there is always an endless supply of chocolate around here!) I didn't resist and ate a few instead of my weight watchers yogurt...id eat the whole bag if they stayed on my desk...so I decided to toss them.

But going and returning to a state of transition has made me realize that I will always be "too busy to workout" and i'l "never have time to cook". That's life. There will always be life happening in the midst of you trying too accomplish you goals-whatever they may be. If I am ever too achieve the physical fitness I desire I must do it choice by choice.
