Another night with the Plantar stretch boots....Yuck. It is hard enough for me to sleep, when you put those bulky boots on and your feet aching, it doesn't make for a comfy night of rest.

Good workout this am on the Recumbant bike. did 20+ miles at 130 bpm so am guesstimating around 500 cals burned.

Looking forward to a nice breakfast and lunch with my sweetie. I have to work this afternoon.

Will strive for more moderation with my sweettooth as I think that is what is hampering my achiles rehabilitation.

Check back tomorrow.

what happened to your foot? Feet injuries are horrible!! part of my lack of motivation stems from a 5 year old injury in my foot. Although the fracture has healed the weAther ( (a few storms) has been causing an intense ache in it. I know I can work through it but that when the excuses come through! Hope your feeling well! thanks for your support!!

My workout routine for the past 12 months has been bicycling and Elliptical. So about 2 weeks ago I decided to start running (Jogging) for me (5.5mph) again. I did three sessions of jogging. The first two were 3 and then 4 miles. Then did another 4 miler and when I got home I couldn't walk. My heels felt like the tendons were ruptured. So I hobbled around for a week then went to Podiatrist. He said i have Plantar faciatious (SP). Put me on some steroids and told me to get the night time stretch boot. Well today i feel about 80 percent healed. Awesome. What happened to your foot. Was it a training injury or some sort of trauma from car wreck etc.?? Have you had any luck with doctors?? Let me know what/how that goes. On another thought: I think that it is so cool the work you do. I was a sociology major in college and worked with mentally disabled children and adults in highschool and college. I love the fact that you are helping others and contributing to society. Keep your chin up about the exercise and food stuff. That is the hardest part for me to get through my skull. It is a long process we just have to persevere.
