So, I tried this recipe this afternoon because I had cut up a chicken breast into small pieces and pan fried it in olive oil. I wanted a Caesar salad but didn’t have the dressing. So I looked for a keto recipe and found this one:
Caesar Dressing
3 cloves garlic, finely minced 1 ½ teaspoons anchovy paste 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about ½ a lemon) 1 ½ teaspoons Dijon mustard ¾ cup mayonnaise Salt and Pepper to taste
It tasted okay, it was edible. But when I went to get my garlic cloves, they were mushy and moldy. I ended up using minced garlic and only used one tablespoon.
Then I didn’t have anchovy’ paste, never have even heard of it. And I didn’t have fresh lemon so used the bottled squirt stuff.
So it lacked the exact flavor I wanted and I’m sure if I had everything I needed, it would’ve been. Great..
